Over the past few months we've seen the Hudson Valley get a little Hollywood flare.

The Hudson Valley has quickly become a perfect filming location for big name television shows and movies. Our community has seen some serious love on shows like Quantico, The Affair and Homeland. You can add the new movie featuring John Krasinski (13 Hours, The Office) and Emily Blunt (Girl on the Train, Mary Poppins) to the list.

We reported last week that Krasinski would be filming in New Paltz in October, but it looks as though filming is also underway in Pawling.

The Pawling town board gave the okay for an area on Dodge road to be left untouched for some time so weeds could grow over. They have also closed down West Dover Road starting Sept. 6.

During the meeting, town officials were mum about the film that was shooting there, but Paramount was the movie studio making the request of the town. According to Movie Insider, Paramount has a handful of movies in development. One of those is A Quiet Place, which is already confirmed to be filming in New Paltz.

According to IMDB, the film Krasinski and Blunt are starring in is a psychological thriller set to be released on April 6, 2018.
