Well, this is exciting and unexpected news

As we all know, on Sunday, June 12 Sam Hunt had to cancel his performance at the Taste of Country Music Festival. Sam was sick and pulled out of his performance, a first for the country crooner. However, today it was announced that Sam will be coming back to Hunter Mountain next year to redeem himself.

Sam will be joining huge headliner Eric Church at the 2018 Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes places June 8-10.

And for those looking for a refund for the inconvenience, according to a Taste of Country Music Festival press release: "

Because Sam Hunt was not able to perform at this year's festival due to illness, we will be announcing a compensation policy for our 2017 multi-day and Sunday only ticket holders on Monday, June 26th.

With all of that being said when I first heard the news, I got a bit excited. I was heartbroken, but also understanding, when I heard Sam wouldn't be going on on Sunday afternoon.

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to 2018.
