The Super Bowl has come and gone but not without leaving winners and losers in its path. Me being one of the losers, but in a good way...kind of.

Every year when the Big Game rolls around here at Townsquare Media we like to partake in a friendly National Anthem wager.

This year with Reba McEntire singing the National Anthem prop bet experts set the over-under at 90.5 seconds.

On The Waking up with CJ and Jess Show the Friday before the big game, after a coin toss, I decided to stick with the experts and go with the under leaving CJ with the over. We asked our listeners to choose what the loser must do after Reba's performance.

Several listeners texted in saying the loser should do a Polar Plunge. It's a win-win situation. The loser will jump into freezing cold water to pay off the bet while also raising money for a fantastic cause.

Reba Performs The National Anthem

Reba took to the field and delivered one of the best National Anthem performances at the Super Bowl to date. But how long did she perform?

If you clocked it properly you would see that Reba sang over the predicted 90.5 seconds leaving Jess as the loser of the 2024 Super Bowl National Anthem Wager.
