Jason Aldean Set to Appear at Nashville Benefit for Trauma Victims
Jason Aldean is continuing to give back to victims in the wake of the Route 91 shooting that happened one year ago in Las Vegas. The singer is tapped to appear Oct. 23 at the Onsite Foundation's Annual INSPIRE event, which will honor Live Nation’s President of Country Touring Brian O’Connell for ongoing commitment to helping of the victims and families of the Oct. 1 tragedy.
Aldean and Big & Rich are scheduled to perform at Nashville's Marathon Music Works that evening, and Maren Morris will be making a special presentation.
The Onsite Foundation provides funding to vulnerable populations including victims of mass tragedies, refugees, veterans, first responders, creatives, and everyday people needing mental health resources. Proceeds from the INSPIRE event will benefit this directly, helping to find healing through mental health resources.
Aldean, who was headlining at the time of the deadly shooting, has not shied away from the tragedy. He returned to Las Vegas to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 21, and took part in an emotional tribute to the victims and first responders. The Vegas shooting remains the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. In addition to more than 50 lives lost, 800 were left injured.
