CJ and I got into a little discussion about "Bro-country" this morning. People seem to be against it because of what it stands for and that it's not real country music."Bro Country" for those of you who don't know, is defined (according to Wikipedia, so do what you want with that information) as " a general term for styles of country music taking influence from 21st-century hip hop, rock, and pop... songs are about attractive young women, the consumption of alcohol, and pickup trucks."

Me and CJ came to the conclusion that at the end of the day, if you're having fun while listening to it, it shouldn't matter. We were also trying to decipher if Jake Owen would be considered a part of the "bro-country" crowd. Wherever he might fall in the country music category he's having fun on his song with Florida Georgia Line called "Summer Jam."

It's a perfect summer time song. With the weather like it is, I think it's safe to start celebrating summer, so go ahead and jam out with Jake and FGL...
