Watching certain tv shows with family and friends can be a bonding experience or tradition. Those who also use the same programs may become friends out of similar interests.

There are specific tv shows and movies that I enjoy watching because it also reminds me of a memory from the past, it's a connection with a family or friend and it simply makes me laugh.

It's exciting when we learn about our favorite actor, comedian or Hollywood star making an appearance in the Hudson Valley.

Which Hollywood Stars Have Visited The Hudson Valley Recently?

Recently, some of Hollywood's biggest stars have made an appearance in the Hudson Valley.

50 Cent is known for being more than a hip hop artist, he's also an actor, producer and business owner.

He visited Stew Leonard's Wines & Spirits in Yonkers, NY. 50 Cent visited this business for a bottle signing which took place on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5pm until 8pm. This bottle signing is for his Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne.

Those who visited this event with 50 Cent were able to pre order their bottles and purchase VIP fan packages for his bottle signing. Guests had to pre order a bottle of Branson Cognac or Chemin du Roi Champagne to be able to get in line for the official signing at Stew Leonard's Wines & Spirits.

Besides 50 Cent, a comedian also made an appearance in the Hudson Valley.

A Viral Internet Sensation Recently Performed In Beacon, NY

Vic DiBitetto is well known for his viral videos on social media. His popular segments called Ticked Off Vic gained attention from social media users from all over the world.

DiBitetto is relatable, loud, represents a New Yorker and down right funny. He has over 440,000 subscribers on YouTube, 1.1 million followers on Facebook and 293,000 followers on Instagram.

DiBitetto has also been on "America's Funniest People" on ABC and "Stand-Up Spotlight" which was on VH1.

On January 18, 2024, DiBitetto performed at the Towne Crier Cafe in Beacon, NY. Vic DiBitetto's show is presented by Laugh It Up Comedy.

Golden Girls Lovers Shouldn't Miss This Event Coming To The Hudson Valley

Personally, I grew up watching The Golden Girls. This is a show that I have watched with my family and we have bonded over certain episodes. 

The Golden Girls can be explained as four women who live together in Miami, FL. Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia are roommates under the same roof who share all of life's moments with stories, experiences and laughs. They set examples of how to be friends which may be why the uplifting theme song introduced the show as, 'Thank You for Being a Friend".

Although only rerun episodes are shown of this popular show, they still have fans who follow the account on social media and share their love of The Golden Girls.

Golden Girls lovers will be able to experience a event coming to the Hudson Valley. Immediately, I was drawn to this show and wanted to share it with others who also enjoy laughing.

What Can Guests Expect At Murray & Peter Present Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue?

The Bardavon shared information about the upcoming Golden Girls show.

"Picture it. United States, 2024. Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue brings Miami’s sassiest seniors to stages around the country for one more hurrah. We find Sophia out on bail after being busted by the DEA for running a drug ring for retirees."

 

"Blanche and Rose have founded CreakN, a thriving sex app for seniors. And Dorothy is trying to hold it all together with help from a new (much) younger sex-crazed lover. Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue allows audiences to relive the heartfelt hilarity of the four ladies who never stopped being best friends."

The Bardavon continued to share that it is a "professional stage show" and written by Robert Leleux. The show is directed by Eric Swanson.

The cast of Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue feature Ryan Bernier as Dorothy and Vince Kelley as Blanche. 

They continued to share that Adam Graber will portray Rose and Christopher Kamm as Sophia. Jason Bowen will play Stanley/Burt.

This event is 18+ only. Ticket prices range from $53-$83.

Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 7:30 pm at UPAC in Kingston, NY. This production is produced by Murray & Peter Present.
