There really is something magical about summer in the Hudson Valley! It's truly my favorite season to experience more sunshine, take in the natural beauty and smell the fresh cut grass each day. We get to go on outdoor adventures and relax in local pools and lakes as well.

Theres always something to do in the summer in the Hudson Valley! I also like to enjoy the night at a local drive in movie theater.

What Drive In Movie Theaters Can We Go To This Summer In The Hudson Valley?

Going to the drive in movies is still a summer tradition in New York State. There's a sense of excitement and nostalgia as we watch movies under the stars and snacking on something tasty.

We can visit local drive in locations including Fair Oaks Drive In is located in Middletown and the Four Brothers Drive In is located in Amenia. In addition to these locations, we can also watch a movie at a Hudson Valley beach this summer.

This sounds like something that I would love to do! We get to watch a movie under the stars at this beach in Ulster County. The Kingston Parks and Recreation made an exciting post on social media highlighting this event.

They mentioned that the community celebrated at Hasbrouck Park earlier this month for the Fourth of July Movie Night. The Kingston Parks and Recreation also shared that theres going to be another movie night this month!

We can attend this experience for free at Kingston Point Beach on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
