Uma Thurman Spotted Showing Cows at the Dutchess County Fair.

Hollywood star Uma Thurman traded the red carpet for the show ring this weekend at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck.

The Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill actress made a surprise appearance at the fair, where she joined the livestock festivities and showed a spring Holstein calf. The Dutchess County Fair shared photos of Thurman in the ring, writing that she “joined in” and showed the calf.

And apparently, this isn't Thurman’s first time getting involved with the cows at the fair. The actress has long had ties to the Hudson Valley and has been spotted around the region for years.

Earlier this summer, we reminded you of Thurman’s Hudson Valley connections. She has been associated with the Woodstock area for decades, and her daughter, Stranger Things star Maya Hawke, recently bought a home just a couple of blocks from her mother. Hawke told People she was excited to finally “put some roots down” in the community where she grew up.

The Hudson Valley has never exactly been short on celebrity sightings, either, especially lately with filming projects continuing to pop up around the area. You never know where you might run into your favorite Hollywood star.

But Uma Thurman showing a cow at the Dutchess County Fair? That might be one of the more unexpected celebrity sightings yet.
