In a scene that could have been pulled from a modern-day remake of the Wizard of Oz, a modular home found itself in the middle of I-90 in upstate New York, blocking multiple lanes and snarling traffic.

"Earlier today, a modular home being transported tipped over on I-90 Westbound in the Albany region", reported the New York State Police (NYSP). Photos show the extent of the efforts required from law enforcement, tow truck drivers, and other emergency responders to... and it's hard to believe that this is an actual sentence... get the house off the highway.

Nobody knows what can happen." There are several precautions the NYSP wants drivers to take when they see similar transports on the road.

New York State Police urge motorists to exercise extreme caution when encountering oversized loads, many of which receive police escorts. NYSP advise drivers to only pass transport caravans "if you feel you can safely do so", and that troopers will often temporarily block open lanes for safety reasons.
