There's been a lot going on behind the scenes at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, and a number of new businesses and food options are officially open for business. Maybe it has been a bit since you last took a stroll around the mall, so before your next visit, make sure you look out for the following newcomers to the county's largest shopping mall that will soon celebrate it's 40th birthday.

A New Poughkeepsie Galleria Pretzel Option

You can never have too many options when it comes to a good mall soft pretzel (not just my opinion, pretty sure this is a fact). Lucky for us, a new pretzel spot is open at the Poughkeepsie Galleria.

Serving delicious hand-rolled Pretzel Bites since 1991, Pretzelmaker is now open in the Poughkeepsie Galleria offering bites, sweet and savory dipping sauces, and of course fresh-squeezed lemonade. Pretzelmaker President Allison Laurenstein shared the following about the store opening:

As we expand into new markets, we have been encouraged by the positive response from fans who are embracing the brand for the first time. Our new location at the Poughkeepsie Galleria not only allows us to introduce our fresh-baked offerings to even more guests, but also marks another step in our continued expansion throughout the East Coast.

Leave The Mall Smelling Great

Perfume De Lux is officially open on the second floor across from American Eagle. Branded as a 'specialty fragrance retailer offering a wide selection of designer-inspired perfumes and colognes for every style and occasion.'

Offering Men's, Women's and Unisex scents, Perfume De Lux has a large inventory of natural oil-based fragrances. Based on the number of bottles lining the shelves in those photos, you're guaranteed to walk out with at least one bottle of something that smells pretty great, if not your signature scent....or your new signature one!
