It’s Teacher Appreciation Week

It's a weird world we're living in now. Especially since schools across New York are currently closed for the remainder of the school year.

But that doesn't mean we forgot. It's National Teacher Appreciation Week. Yesterday was National Teacher appreciation day, but the least we can do is honor our favorite teachers.

I'm sure parents who are currently homeschooling their children have a whole new appreciation for the teachers who are molding the young minds of our future.

I'm not speaking for all teachers, but I have a few teacher friends and they all say the same thing: they miss their students.

So this week, maybe during your video conference class send a quick message to your teacher and let them know how much you appreciate them.

To all the teachers in the Hudson Valley, we salute you! Thank you for all you do and hopefully, you'll be back in the classroom in September 2020.
