I'm already prepared for the messages making fun of me for this post. But I'm 100% confident in what I actually saw.

This morning I was heading into work driving north from Fishkill on 9D. I was a bit distracted when approaching Mesier Park because they have an awesome Christmas display that stays on until sometime after 5AM. However, I caught a light moving and started following it. The light most definitely didn't belong to the Christmas display.

To be honest, it just looked like a white blob in the sky, but it was moving pretty fast and didn't have any red or colored lights blinking near it.

I can't identify it, so I'm calling it a UFO. And no, there aren't any pictures. I'm a responsible driver and only use my phone when I'm parked...

When I finally got to work and talked myself out of thinking I saw a UFO I decided to check out the National UFO Reporting Center, just to be safe.

There haven't been any recent UFO sightings in the Hudson Valley. Back on Oct. 20, it was reported that someone saw a "teardrop" formation for about 5 minutes. The report reads that the driver was  "on Rt.32 Southbound toward New Paltz from Rosendale, first observed appox. 1/2 mile North of Horsenden."

What have you seen flying in the Hudson Valley skies?
