We are trying to figure out a way to give the class of 2020 something special.

The outbreak of the coronavirus has affected so many our lives in so many different ways. The world has pretty much stopped with almost everything being closed down for a while. Some are out of work, others are working from home and of course all schools in New York State have been closed down for the remainder of the school year which is so disappointing for any high school seniors and their families.

With that in mind we thought we need to try and come up with a way for the senior class of 2020 in the Hudson Valley to experience some sort of graduation this year and we are looking for any kind of suggestion you might have to celebrate these kids in the HUdson Valley that have been looking forward to this their whole young life.

Remember your graduation day? I do and I was so excited to spend the day celebrating with my friends and family, I still think my family is in shock that I made it through high school...LOL! It's hard to explain the feeling I had that day but the one thing I do remember was that feeling of accomplishment, like I DID IT! I hope that kids that are set to graduate this year still feel accomplished because if you are a senior, you should be super proud of yourself!

Is there a way that we can do some sort of graduation ceremony for the graduates, with social distancing rules still being followed? The only suggestion that I could come up with on my own was to do some sort of video.

Maybe set up a camera in a parking lot and have each senior show up in their cap and grown and a set time and get out of car and walk over to pick up diploma. After all kids pick up, we take video and edit it up and then show it at a set time at one of the local drive in movie theaters. That's all I got...LOL.

Do you have any suggestions on what we could do? Call or text us through the Wolf app and who knows maybe we can come up with something special.
