This past Saturday night I had the opportunity to check off another one of the concerts on my Concert Bucket List. Me and about 600 hundred other folks had the chance to catch Kiefer Sutherland and his Reckless Tour at Bethel Woods Event Gallery. This great intimate space was the perfect setting for a show named after Kiefer's rodeo horse. That's right Kiefer was a team roper.

About two years ago I learned that Kiefer Sutherland had started a band and written an album. From day one I was hooked. His debut single "Not Enough Whiskey" was actually a focus of a blog I wrote when his first Hudson Valley show sold out. Since then he has penned a second album and performed at the Opry.

I had planned to see Kiefer in concert a few times before last night at Bethel Woods but something always got in the way. Finally last night I had the opportunity to check out Kiefer plus enjoy a new artist who is opening on the Reckless Tour named Rick Brantley. This fresh sounding singer songwriter made last night's concert special. He is a great performer and an even more amazing story teller and songwriter. The original tune below is actually based on true events but as he told us last night the names were changed to "protect the innocent."

Thank you Bethel Woods for bring such great original music to the Hudson Valley. After Playing a Sold out show at Daryl's House in Pawling Reckless heads to Europe.
