It looks as though earlier today, according to WNYT.com, Hyundai announced a recall on some of their vehicles. More specifically Hyundai and Kia are recalling over 1.2 million cars and SUVs. The vehicles are being recalled due to debris that was left behind during manufacturing and can prevent oil flow to the connected rod bearings, which could cause the temperatures to increase and bearing to wear. This could possibly cause the engine to fail as well.

Some of their most popular vehicles are being named in the recall. For Hyundai the recall covers the 2013 or 2014 model Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SUVs or the Sonata. When it comes to Kia the Optima model from 2011 through 2014, Kia Sportage SUVs from 2011 through 2013 and Kia Sorento from 2012 through 2014.
