Getting evicted from an apartment has to be one of the worst things that can happen to you and when its done illegally, its even worse.

According to the Daily Freeman and Police that's what has happened in Plattekill.

Marty Soudani, of Montgomery was arrested on Friday by the Plattekill Police department for unlawfully evicting apartment tenants.

Soudani was charged with 14 felonies that include seven counts of possession of a forged instrument and seven counts of offering a false instrument for filing.

After conducting an investigation, Town Police discovered that Soudani had falsified numerous documents in order to have tenants evicted from their apartments.

Police told the Freeman that Soudani allegedly used a deceased person’s notary stamp when filing eviction paperwork.

Authorities did not release where Soudani's apartments where located.

Soundani was arrested and arraigned in Plattekill Town Court. He posted $5,000 bail and was released pending a future court date.
