Hudson Valley Summer Fun Ain’t Over Yet
How did we arrive at the middle of August? Summer seems to be disappearing and the end is coming fast. Labor day weekend and the kids heading back to school is right around the corner. No worries though you still have plenty of time to enjoy some great end of summer events before August comes to a close.
Sunflowers are in bloom all over the valley which means fall can't be far behind. Be sure to check the sunflowers Wallkill View Farm that line Route 299 in New Paltz.
This month's Wolf Cider Jam happens this coming Wednesday, August 16th from 4 to 7 at Angry Orchards in Walden. Admission is free, local favorite country artist Tracy Delucia performs at 6p. There is sampling until 5:30 and Food and refreshments are available for purchase.
Saturday August 19th the yummy fun is at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts with Peace, Love and Food Trucks. Live music and dozens of food truck will be on hand for this afternoon of food peace and love.
Tuesday August 22nd we kick off the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck. Brothers Osborn and Old Crow Medicine Show are playing at the grandstand be sure to get your ticket s for both shows.
