We had some  nasty storms this weekend leaving some, still, without power.

In February you would think we would be facing terrible snow storms, which we did. However, this weekend it was Thunderstorms that took us by surprise this weekend. A tornado was even reported as close as Scranton Pennsylvania on Saturday evening. It got very windy here in the Hudson Valley leaving many homes without power.

According to the Times Herald Record, 493 Central Hudson customers in Esopus are still without power. Their power should be restored by noon today. Power return for 891 customers in Ulster County and 327 in the city of Kingston  is still pending. Orange and Rockland Utilities tells the Times Herald Record that power will be restored in Walkill by 9pm tonight and Lumberland should see power by 3pm.

Where in the Hudson Valley did you experience the storm? Did you loose power? If so lets us know on our Facebook page and make sure to fill us in when power is restored.
