Hudson Valley Now Home To America’s Favorite Burger
In a shocking development, the best burger in the United States can be found in the Hudson Valley.
A famous southern California burger chain is no longer America's favorite. The 2017 Harris Poll found that In-N-Out Burger has been bumped to the number-two spot on the list of America's favorite burger chains.
Claiming the top spot, Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
“The burger brand category has become less fragmented, as regional brands expand and become available in more parts of the country,” the Harris Poll said in a press release. “This is certainly the case with Five Guys, who has shed its ‘small regional player’ designation as it expands its footprint and marketing budget along with its fandom, which is a tremendous contributor to brand equity.”

The good news, if you’ve never bitten into a Five Guys burger, or want to try it again, there are a few locations in the Hudson Valley. According to the company’s website, you can find Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Newburgh, Middletown, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, Kingston and Nanuet.
As someone who loooves In-N-Out, this news came as surprise. But, maybe it shouldn’t. In a recent WPDH poll, Five Guys Burgers and Fries was named the best burger in the Hudson Valley.
The Harris Poll surveyed over 100,000 U.S. consumers who assessed over 4,000 brands across more than 450 categories, including quality and familiarity.
