A Hudson Valley mother of two lost her life in a fire. A GoFundMe has been set up to help the surviving family members who lost their home as well as their loved one.

On Wednesday, multiple fire departments responded to a second-alarm structure fire on Crescent Avenue in Clintondale, according to Ulster County Fire/Rescue Incidents. The fire quickly spread to the second floor of the home and mobile life and additional ambulance where set to the scene for a patient.

Brian and Marissa Korzeniecki, both students at Highland high school, lost their home and their mother to the house fire, according to a GoFundMe.

"We are a community that comes together, time and again, to take care of our family members who are in crisis. Please donate and share to help the Korzenieckis in the wake of this immeasurable loss," Josh Tatum wrote on the GoFundMe.

In addition to needing money, the surviving family members are in need of clothing and everyday household items because the fire destroyed everything, the GoFundMe states.
