A Hudson Valley man on supervised released from prison through New York State Parole is heading back to jail.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office reports that police arrested 33-year-old Harvey E. Ducker III on a slew of charges.

According to a press release from the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, police stopped the Kerhonkson man Monday on State Route 209.

Police say that while they were conducted their investigation, Ducker attempted to flee by speeding off, nearly hitting the officers. Several vehicles also had to pull off the road to avoid hitting Ducker. According to the press release, Ducker’s vehicle eventually stopped in Accord and he was taken into custody.

According to police, further investigation revealed Mr. Ducker was allegedly in possession of a quantity of cocaine and also discarded additional narcotics while attempting to elude patrols.

Ducker is currently out of prison on supervised release for a robbery conviction.

Ducker was transported to the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center and processed on the charges.
