Sunday November 3rd - The Esopus Fire Department is starting back up their monthly Pancake Breakfasts just in time for the colder weather. A fire house breakfast is a great way to start your day.. Enjoy an all you can eat breakfast and please consider making a donation. The breakfast dates are Nov. 3rd, Dec. 1, Jan. 5, Feb. 2 and Mar. 1 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The Esopus Fire Department is located right on Route 9W in Esopus..

Tuesday November 5th - The Cronomer Valley Ladies Auxiliary hosts a dinner for election night. They prepare a delicious meal that you can enjoy at the fire house or you can call ahead to take it home. The dinner is hosted at the Cronomer Valley Fire Department Social Hall located at 296 North Plank Road in Newburgh. Dinner will be served from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This year entrees will included ham or turkey with all the fixings and dessert. Prices vary with adult plates at $17, Seniors are $14, children under 10 are $6. If you wish to place a take out order you can call 845-564-2020 ext 12.

Saturday November 9th - The Salt Point Fire House is holding a BBQ Chicken Dinner in honor of Veteran's Day. All Veterans eat free with ID. Tickets are $13 and $10 for seniors in advance or $15 and $12 for seniors at the door. The menu is 1/2 chicken with potatoes, coleslaw, roll, dessert and a beverage. Dinner is eat in or take out from 4 PM to 7 PM at the fire house on 30 Cottage Street. Reservations are suggested because last year it sold out. Call 845-266-5177.
