The cooler temperatures of the fall probably have you heading back into the kitchen to make heartier meals. If so you are going to most likely add breads to the menu. One of my favorites this time of year is an autumn squash soup served in a bread bowl. Or maybe you are filling a loaf with your favorite dip for a Sunday football snack. Whatever you're thinking fresh loaves of bread are the best way to go and the perfect place to get them is from a bakery known for it's fresh bread locally, Bread Alone Bakery.

Lucky for all of us bread lovers Bread Alone can do all the baking but if you would like to try your hand in it you have a perfect opportunity. Bread Alone's Founder, Daniel Leader is sharing his knowledge about bread and bread making and you can be part of the experience.

Bread Alone will be hosting a book signing and recipe tasting this Saturday. Bread Alone Founder Daniel Leader has just released a book "LIVING BREAD: Tradition and Innovation in Artisan Bread Making". On Saturday you can come to Bread Alone at 2121 Ulster Avenue in Lake Katrine from 12 pm to 2 pm meet Dan, buy his new book, get it signed and taste some amazing bread from the recipes in the book. Dan will be on hand to chat and give you a first hand look at the deliciousness that is artisan breads.

Bread Alone's cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch. So come early or stay late but don't miss the opportunity to fill your fall with bread recipes from a true bread artist.
