No matter how your celebrating the big game this year, here are some made in the Hudson Valley things that need to be at every party.

Over the course of my football watching career, there really is no better day for fans than Super Bowl Sunday, with the fun bets, the halftime shows and of course the parties. Now I understand that health officials are recommending this year that we don't have any big blow out parties because of COVID-19, but that doesn't mean we can't do something small, or virtually, right?

I'm choosing to do something Sunday and to do that we needed to come up with a nice list of Hudson Valley things that need to be at the party, we'll call it the Hudson Valley Big Game Checklist! We can't do a checklist without your help, so if you have an item that needs to be on our checklist text it to us through the Wolf app. Here's what we have so far...and thanks to Maggie who texted us, "DON'T Forget lots of napkins and paper plates!"

Wings from McGillicuddys in New Paltz or Darby's in Hyde Park
"Dogs" from Dallas Hot Wieners in Lake Katrine
Deli from Rossi's in Poughkeepsie
Ribs and brisket from Billy Joe's Ribworks in Newburgh
Mac & Cheese balls from Mix and Mac in Wappingers Falls and Middletown
Football themed desserts from Deising's Bakery in Kingston
Chips & Guacamole from Mexicali Blue in New Paltz and Wappingers Falls

What places did we miss? Let us know and if you are going to do a party, Lauren texted us, "Every party needs a themed cocktail, you def need a football specialty drink." Yes it does! Here are some of the football themed drinks names we came up today to get you started...

Flagorita
Touchdown Punch
1st Down Moscow Mule
Jello Sack Shots
