According to John Kwon, his father was hit by a car on Route 82 in Fishkill between 5:15 and 6am on Tuesday. Kwon says his father was found on the ground unconscious by a passing car near Schneider's Fishkill Bowling. He suffered spine and rib fractures.

Found near the accident were broken side mirror pieces with burgundy body color. Kwon picked up some of the broken pieces, as seen in the picture above.

Kwon's father was jogging eastbound and Route 82 so the car that hit the jogger likely has a broken passenger-side mirror. There were no witnesses, Kwon's father doesn't really remember anything about the accident and there is no nearby camera, according to Kwon.

"I am asking for help with any information or spread the news. Please call the Town of Fishkill Police with any information at 845-831-1110," Kwon stated.
