Highly Anticipate New Indoor Pickleball Center is Now Open in Poughkeepsie

It's time! A brand new indoor pickleball court and golf center is finally open for business.

Construction Begins at Former Christmas Tree Shop Location in Poughkeepsie

Back in March of 2024 construction began in the vacant building that was once home to the Christmas Tree Shop in the South Hills Plaza in Poughkeepsie, New York.

We quickly found out that the large space was going to turn into indoor pickleball courts and an indoor golf simulator location.

Hudson Valley natives Brian Vigorita, Glen Beram, and Russel Tigges were teaming up to bring a state-of-the-art facility with golf simulators and indoor pickleball courts to the Dutchess County community.

Hudson Valley Pickleball and Golf has been the talk of the town, specifically fans of the sports have been waiting patiently for an opening date.

It looks like the time is now!

Hudson Valley Pickleball and Golf: Now Opened in Poughkeepsie, NY

In early January 2025 Hudson Valley Pickleball and Golf wrote on social media:

"When we first started this journey we never could have anticipated it’d be such and undertaking but with all the trials to get to opening day, when we finally cut that ribbon and open these doors in a couple of weeks it will be the most rewarding experience."

They also added “We can’t wait to share with you every loving detail we have put into Hudson Valley Pickleball & Golf"

On Friday, February 14th 2025 the team at Hudson Valley Pickleball and Golf announced they are officially open for business. In a Facebook post they explain that starting at 8 am on Saturday, February 15th 2025 they'll be open to all.

Pickleball, Golf and More at New Pickleball Facility

Hudson Valley Pickleball welcomes all skill levels and, Vigorita tells us that there are plans to have tournaments, clinics and mixers throughout the year.

There are 10 pickleball courts in total inside Hudson Valley Pickleball and Golf, plus 5 golf simulators.

The herculean granulate rubber pickleball courts are designed to be less stressful on knees and joins while also made with a perfect blend of traction, comfort and safety.

As for the golf simulators, the technology will blow your minds as the floor will change depending on where the golfers ball lands and the ground will change too!
