Today is the 4th of July, also known as Independence Day or as I like to call it, America's Birthday.

Today is the day that we celebrate our freedom and independence.

It's a major holiday that consists of fireworks, cookouts, pool parties, get together's and the day off of work for most of us.

Enjoy your parties, BBQ's and day off.  Take us along with you with the Wolf App because let's face it, nothing says America more than Country Music.  And maybe beer.

The Hudson Valley is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do today.  The weather is perfect, the scenery is breathtaking and the Fireworks tonight will be amazing.

Here's a list of where you can see them.

Speaking of fireworks, here are some things to consider:

  • Pets are both afraid of them and don't like them.
  • Small children can be sensitive to the noise
  • Always use caution
  • If you have been drinking, let someone that hasn't handle them
  • Set an alarm on your phone and make sure you are done with them by 11pm because people have to work in the morning, etc
  • Should you not want to venture out, you can watch the fireworks from NYC on TV.

Enjoy our great countries birthday, stay safe and don't drink and drive.
