Snow in Middletown, New York? Nope, That’s Just a Hallmark Christmas Movie Set

It may be Spring in the Hudson Valley, but snow was spotted in Orange County on Hallmark Movie set. 

Is a New Christmas Movie Filming in Middletown, New York?

Over the last week or so, we've been hearing rumblings of a few different productions filming around the region.

Then, we heard there was snow on the streets of Middletown, New York and knew something was up.

Our sources tells us they spoke to someone on set on North Street in Middletown who told them it's a Hallmark Christmas movie called "Reimagined."

While we can't confirm if it is Hallmark Christmas movie, it does seem that whatever they're shooting is called Reimagined, as seen on some of the chairs and signs on set.

Hudson Valley Businesses Used in Latest Hallmark Christmas Movie

In the past, especially with holiday movies, local businesses have been used as background actors and locations.

It looks like that trend is continuing with Reimagined.

The Little Wine Bus wrote on Instagram "We were asked to produce a beautiful bus for their movie set within a few days and we delivered!"

They went on to add "The Little Wine Bus and Hudson Valley Party Ride had a blast today "on-set" of a major movie being filmed right here in the beautiful Hudson Valley!"

Upon a closer look, it looks like we found a notable name who will be in the film. Scott Hoying, from the acapella group Pentatonix, face is seen on the side of what looks to be a tour bus.

Take a look:

Hoying and Pentatonix are known for their incredible vocals and how well their voices blend together. They're also known for their Christmas covers and originals.

So, if this is a Christmas movie it will be very on brand.

Hallmark Christmas Movies Filmed in The Hudson Valley

If this does turn out to be a Hallmark Christmas movie, it wouldn't be the first that has filmed in the Hudson Valley.

Hallmark movies like "A Holiday Spectacular" and "One December Night" both filmed across the region in Dutchess, Orange and Ulster Counties.

A Holiday Spectacular filmed around the Eveready Diner in Hyde Park back in 2022 and One December Night used a handful of local food trucks in Orange County for a tree lighting scene in 2021.

We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more details and a release date.
