The Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County Restore is getting bigger and a lot more convenient.

It's good to see a business that helps so many in the Hudson Valley expand and take  over a large unused commercial space at the same time.

Many people rely on getting quality furniture at an affordable price. When you need good used furniture and other home goods the Habitat Restore is a great place to shop.

The Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County Restore is expanding and moving from the shop on Neptune Road in Poughkeepsie to a much larger location in Wappingers Falls. The Restore of Dutchess announced on their Facebook page that they will be moving their operations to 1822 South Road in the Nine Mall Plaza between Aldi's and Kohl's inside the old Baby's R Us location.

The store plans a soft opening on January 23 with new hours of operation.

“Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County is so incredibly pleased to announce that our ReStore is moving to a larger and more customer friendly location. Not only is the Nine Mall Plaza conveniently located  it's also on the LOOP run. Every item purchased brings a family closer to a permanent home they can call their own. We can’t wait to meet our new customers and welcome our faithful customers back.” - Executive Director Maureen Brennen Lashlee
