Yesterday Keith Urban made a huge announcement. He'll be hitting the road in 2016 on his RipCORD Tour. The tour kicks off June 2nd in Kansas City and wraps up in our home state down in the city on November 19th.

It was huge news and Keith brought his two opening acts with him to make the announcement and throw together an impromptu Adele performances.

Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris will be opening for Keith this tour. We're all a familiar with Brett, but who is Maren Morris?

Maren is a 25 year old country singer from Dallas, Texas that has been sneaking into the country music scene. Recently, she opened up for Charles Kelly (of Lady Antebellum) while he does his solo thing, down in NYC and she also has a single out right now called "My Church" off of her EP titled "Maren Morris." I was lucky enough to be introduced to her music a few months back by a close friend. She played "My Church" while a group of us were sitting around a fire pit in California and it fit the mood so perfectly. Maren is blessed with an awesome smokey voice that makes you think classic country. Rollingstone Magazine described her best when they said she's "Bonnie Raitt circa 1989, covering Taylor Swift's 1989." I don't think I have to say it, but with a big tour like this and her natural talent, I think we'll be hearing more from Maren. Take a listen to "My Church" and let us know if you want to hear it in the future.
