
Did Fishkill, New York Restaurant and Bar Close Permanently?
Has another Hudson Valley business closed its doors for good?
The Hudson Valley has quickly become a popular destination for foodies and wine enthusiasts. There are dozens of restaurants and wineries to choose from. A restaurant and wine bar in Fishkill, New York may have closed up shop after 2 years of opening.
Before BarVino There Was Hudson's Ribs & Fish
In August of 2021, the iconic Hudson's Ribs & Fish announced it was closing their doors after 32 years of service.
In their announcement, the Bei family shared that they would be closing the Fishkill New York location to focus on their waterfront location in Cold Spring, Hudson House River Inn.

They added that they were excited that they were "passing on the torch to a pretty exciting team who would like to continue the legacy of Hudson's Ribs & Fish" and hired the Hudson's Ribs & Fish team.
In November of 2022, BarVino and ODA opened their doors at the old Hudson's Ribs & Fish location in Fishkill.
Fishkill, NY Restaurant and Wine Bar Listed as Permanently Closed
Social media swirled with rumors last week that BarVino and ODA in Fishkill, New York has closed permanently.
The restaurant and wine bar took over the old Hudson's Ribs & Fish location on Route 9 in Fishkill back in 2022. A quick Google search for both locations shows the businesses are listed as "Permanently Closed."
We've contacted BarVino and ODA for comments and confirmation but have not heard back. As of Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, the number listed is still in service.
We will update this story when we get more information.
