Feeding Frontline Families BBQ Pictures
Take a look at some of the amazing "essential" signs from our BBQ.
When we started the idea of feeding frontline families we never dreamed that it would turn out the way it has the last few weeks. We thought we would give away a weeks worth of dinners to some well deserving families and that would be it. Meaningful, yes, but this has taken on a life of it's own and it's all because of the amazing people in the Hudson Valley.
People like Ed and his team from the Handsome Devil BBQ who reached out to us a few weeks ago offering us his services to feed even more families. And to say we took him up on his offer is an understatement.
After the success of our first BBQ in Dutchess county last Friday May 1st, we set up shop this Friday May 8th in Orange county to feed 30 plus families with "wolf packs" of food.
We took reservations during the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show for the BBQ all morning long and for the second week in a row EVERY SINGLE PERSON SHOWED UP!!! and scored enough food to feed a family of four.
We asked everyone who made a reservation to show up at a certain time with a homemade sign that read, "I AM ESSENTIAL". Here are some of the amazing signs that we got to see.
