Fall Back or Spring Forward?
"One's Gotta Go!!" Which one do you choose?
As a reminder, this is the weekend that we are supposed to turn our clocks back one hour. The "fall back" happens early Sunday morning at 2 a.m. where everyone in the Hudson Valley has to get up out of bed exactly at 2 a.m. and try to figure out how to change the clock on their microwave....kidding of course...LOL! In my house I usually don't get around to changing all the clocks until sometime mid November, NOT KIDDING...LOL!
I mentioned on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show today that every year I get super excited when its time to "fall back" and Jess jumped in and told me that I was crazy. That statement started quite the debate on the air.
We asked, if you could get rid of one of the yearly clock changes, "fall back or spring forward", which one would say bye-bye too? I said bye-bye to springing forward, Jess said bye-bye to falling back. Jess gave us her reasons for not wanting to fall back including, hating the cold, snow, and it getting darker earlier.
My only reason for ditching springing forward is the extra hour of sleep, when we spring forward we lose an hour and it kills me every year! Plus when we fall back it means that we have football and of course the holiday's!!
As we often do on the show, we always try and figure out where the Valley stands on whatever we are arguing about, so we asked which "One's Gotta Go", fall back or spring forward and most of the responses we got agreed with Jess and said bye-bye to falling back, with the number one reason being that after we fall back it gets dark way too early.
What do you think? Text us through the Wolf mobile app and no matter what be sure to turn the clocks back before you go to bed on Saturday. It's also a great time to replace the batteries on smoke detectors throughout your house.
