KINGSTON – 1st Responder Rib Eating Contest

Jack Rose was a Captain who died in the Line of duty on December 19th 2015.  Jack was a young soul full of spirit and always had a smile on his face.  The death sent shockwaves through the nation as his services were attended by fire, EMS, and police personnel from around the nation.  This committee has been formed to create the Jack Rose Fallen first responders memorial in the town of Saugerties at Cantine Field.  

On September 14th starting at noon and lasting until 5 there will be live music by the Paul Luke Band, Test Pilot Charlie, and Jules Taylor. Events such as a “touch a truck” at noon, rib eating contest at 2, and games/raffles after are planned for the day.  Dinners will be sold at $10/dinner and teams are being accepted by me at $100/team.
