Enjoy Local Maple Syrup at Bowdoin Park
Even if the snow doesn't melt by then, this is the perfect way to start off your spring season.
Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls in Dutchess County will be hosting a Maple Open House and Pancake Breakfast. The Maple Open House is a free event starting on March 25th from 10am until 2pm. The Pancake Breakfast festivities will kick off on Saturday April 1st at 9am and go until 11:30am, according to a press release. Admission for the Pancake Breakfast event is $5 per person and children 6 and under can attend for free.
Throughout the day on March 25th, you can enjoy the opportunity to get a hands on learning experience about the process of making Maple Syrup. You'll take part in tapping tapping the trees, collecting the sap, and then boiling it down to syrup. You can also purchase the syrup after your tour.
During the Pancake Breakfast you can enjoy locally made syrup with your family and friends while getting excited for the snow to melt and spring to arrive. For more information you can visit Dutchess County's official website or Bowdoin Parks page.
