As we enter the first full week of 2026, the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force is sharing details of their successful 2025.

According to a statement shared to social media the Dutchess County District Attorney's Drug Task Force had a "historic year of aggressive, intelligence-driven operations."

These operations directly targeted narcotics and "dangerous drug traffickers" across Dutchess County. In the statement Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi writes:

"The District Attorney's Drug Task Force and law enforcement partners use intelligence-driven investigations and smart, strategic prosecution to disassemble drug networks and keep fentanyl and other deadly substances out of our communities.

The Drug Task Force has been established in 1989 and has been "committed to saving lives by removing lethal substances from local communities."

Dutchess County Drug Task Force 2025 By The Numbers

In the statement the Dutchess County Drug Task Force explains that 2025 was "defined by relentless investigative pace, coordinated intelligence with precise execution, and a refusal to allow narcotic and dangerous drug dealers to operate with impunity."

Here's how their record breaking year breaks down:

  • 37 search warrants and raids executed across Dutchess County targeting high-risk drug operations.
75 felony arrests (Class A, B, and C) of narcotic and dangerous drug dealers.
  • 10 illegal handguns seized from individuals engaged in drug trafficking.

There were more felony arrests made in 2025 than at any point in the Drug Task Force history.

Dutchess County Drug Task Force Puts Drug Dealers on Notice

After the historic year for the Drug Task Force, leaders are hoping this is a sign to drug dealers in Dutchess County.

In the press release Adam Harris, Drug Task Force Coordinator said:

"This year, we made it unmistakably clear: if you sell deadly drugs in Dutchess County, we will find you, we will dismantle your operation, and we will hold you fully accountable."

Harris goes on to say that the numbers aren't statistics adding "the work done by the District Attorney's Drug Task Force saves lives."

Every warrant or raid, every arrest, every seizure is one less opportunity for a dealer to put Fentanyl and other dangerous drugs into the hands of our residents.
