Dutchess County Wants To Return The FAVOR For Veterans

It's not always easy to say a proper thank you to the thousands of men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us by serving in the military. While many veterans would say a simple thank you, or acknowledgment of their services is enough, many want to do more.

Dutchess County is working hard to do more with the Return the FAVOR discount program. According to Dutchess County Clerk Brad Kendall, Dutchess County Veterans are encouraged to enroll in this program that can save the veterans money on either products or services at over 250 different businesses and merchants throughout Dutchess County.

Honorably discharged veterans simply need to bring their military separation papers to the Division of Veterans Office at 85 Civic Center Plaza in Poughkeepsie. They'll help our veterans through the process the rest of the way.

There is no charge to participate in the Return the FAVOR program and every little bit of savings can add up to be a big help and another way to say thank you to our veterans for their service and sacrifice.
