As New York State officially starts phase 1B of the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, many people aren't sure where they should go to actually get the vaccination. If you meet the criteria for this round of vaccinations and live in Dutchess County there are a few places that you can make an appointment to get vaccinated.

According to the Dutchess County website, Ducthess County has established initial Point of Dispensing locations throughout the county. Vaccinations will only be done by appointment at the following locations:

Wednesday, January 13th

Friday, January 15th
Former JC Penney store location
Poughkeepsie Galleria

The county is also working with Northern Dutchess Hospital and offering vaccinations at the Health Annex at Northern Dutchess Hospital located at 107 Montgomery Street in Rhinebeck. If you've made an appointment at any of these locations be ready to show show identification to verify that you're eligible for either Phase 1a and 1b.

If you have any questions about the distribution of the vaccine or to schedule your appointment, you can call the New York State's COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829). They are open 7 days a week from 7am-10pm.
