Drama at Fishkill Walmart
How would you have handled this?
Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we try to do our part and save some folks the cost of going to their therapist by turning the studio into a therapists office for you to talk out any issues you may be dealing with in your life.
Some weeks the issues are real serious, others not so much. This week a fan of the show had a weird experience at the Fishkill Walmart parking lot that shes looking for some advice with. Here is what she wrote us,
"I hope I don't sound like someone with a freezing cold heart cold but the other day after grocery shopping at the Walmart in Fishkill, I started putting the groceries in my car to head home when a woman sitting in the car next to mine leaned out and asked if she could use my phone. She seemed like something was kind of wrong and panicked, which made her hard to understand. Anyway she said she had an emergency and had to call her boyfriend ASAP. I'm a HUGE germaphobe so this was hard. I also wasn't sure if she was just trying to steal my phone, so I told her that I could make the call for her, but she yelled back to me, "never mind thanks for nothing" and drove away.
Guys, I feel incredibly guilty that I was too scared to help another human in need, I still have that image of her as she peeled away and I'm wondering what others would have done in the moment?"
Jess thinks the woman definitely did the right thing and does think the lady asking for help was definitely going to steal the phone. What do you guys think? How would you have dealt with this kind of situation? Call or text us through the Wolf app.
