“Don’t Ever Give Up.” Jim Valvano’s Words Still Prove Strong Today

Tonight is the ESPY Awards on ESPN and in honor of the awards I had to post Jimmy V's famous speech. If you don't know what I'm talking about just check it out below:

For those of you who don't know Jim Valvano, he was head coach of North Carolina State in the late 80's. Eight weeks after his rousing ESPY speech, Jim passed away from cancer.

Every year at the ESPY's they now give out a Jimmy V award to a deserving athlete or public figure. Jimmy V's words of never giving up ring true to so many people, in many different ways.
