Date night with your pup is set for Wednesday August 26th at the drive in.

In celebration of National Dog Day, which is Wednesday 8/26, the folks at BarkBox and the Four Brothers Drive in movie theater are bringing Open Bark Night to the Hudson Valley.

If you have a dog and want to treat them to a nice night out, why not bring them to a comedy show and movie that both you and your pet will love? A fan of the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show, Nicole sent us an email to make sure we had all the information on this awesome event where both dogs and dog parents will be treated to a night of socially-distanced stand-up comedy from comedian Matt Richards, and a screening of the ultimate pet flick "Secret Life of Pets."

The fun starts this Wednesday night at the Four Brothers Drive-In Movie Theater, located at 4957 Route 22 in Amenia, with doors opening at 5 p.m. The comedy show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will start promptly at 8:20 p.m.

This is a ticketed event with proceeds going to support the Dutchess County SPCA, so if you would like to purchase tickets you can do that online here.

Tickets will cost $19 for adult humans, $14 for kid humans and $0 for pups! With every ticket purchased, all dogs will receive a free swag bag with a bag of treats and a BarkBox toy. They will also have free movie themed toys, and raffle prizes the day of the event.
