Do You Have Sports Superstitions?

I was born and raised a New York sports fan. Which as we all know hasn't been easy.

For me New York sports consist of the Yankees, Giants, Rangers and Knicks. I've stuck with them through thick and thin. The Giants have been in the funk and the Yankees are currently giving me heart problems.

This weekend I decided to change things up, I told myself I wasn't going to watch the Giants game to avoid being disappointed. Naturally, they won their first game of the season. I watched the Yankees lose on Friday and Saturday, so last night I did the same thing I did for the Giants.

I didn't watch.

The Yankees beat the Astros 8-1. As Michael Scott from The Office once said, "I'm not superstitious, I'm a little-stitious."

I have Sports Superstition. If it wasn't a real thing before, it is now. Do you have superstitions when watching your favorite team?
