We got talking this morning on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show about school and if you can remember if your school ever had anyone interesting come into the school to speak.

If you don't know I grew up in Windham, which is up in the Catskill's and basically in the middle of nowhere so to get anybody to come in was challenging and when we were talking about it on the air I remembered that the only famous person to ever come to the school when I was there was the former Governor of New York, Mario Cuomo. To be honest, none of the students cared that he was coming but oh boy did the parents show up. If I remember correctly there was a lot of yelling going on. LOL.

Jess said she remembered a few famous authors that came to her schools over the years including, James Howe who wrote "Bunnicula" and Marc Brown who wrote "Arthur".

We had a few people call the show to tell us that Jimmy Fallon has appeared at Saugerties High School a few times because he graduated from there back in the day.

Did anyone famous or interesting come to your school? Call the show or leave us a comment on Facebook.
