Columbia-Greene Humane Society Celebrates Free Pet Adoption Week
What is the Subaru Loves Pets Initiative?
When October rolls around every year, Subaru dealerships go to the dogs...well, the pets but you get what we're trying to say.
Every October the car dealership participates in the Subaru Loves Pets Initiative. According to their website, the initiative brings Subaru retailers and local animal welfare organizations together to "help prepare shelter pets for adoption through grants administered by the ASPCA."
They also host pet adoption "microchipping, or other types of events in their stores to help ensure more pets can find loving homes in their communities."
Thanks to the initiative, a local animal shelter will have an easier time finding dogs their forever home.
