CJ and Jess Pick CMA Winners

Tonight is the big night. The 50th Anniversary of the CMA Awards airs on ABC starting at 8pm.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are back at it hosting and I'm super excited to see where they go this year. Carrie has warned everyone that they will stay away from politics, but we all know Brad likes to push the envelope. Whatever happens I know their banter and Carrie's 11 outfits will be highly entertaining.

Not only will we have great hosts, but it is the 50th Anniversary after all so we can expect the CMA's to pull out all the stops. I'm guessing we'll hear "Forever Country" live, with country legends all in attendance. Thinking about it alone gives me chills.  Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town and a handful of others are slated to perform as well.

We all have our favorite artist that we're rooting for, but CJ and I thought it would be a good idea to make our picks before the show and of course...set a wager. It's what we do. Take a look at our picks below:

If you can read CJ's chicken scratch, then you'll see we have some different opinions of who should go home with the CMA trophy. Whomever has the most correct picks in the winner. If CJ win's he gets to take over my dating apps. If I win CJ owes me $1.

So far I'm beating CJ 1-0. Dierks Bentley and Elle King have won for Musical Event of The Year with "Different for Girls."
