New York State Police K9 Helps Seize 160 Pounds of Pot in the Hudson Valley

An Orange County man has been arrested and charged after New York State Police (NYSP) seized a large quantity of marijuana from his home with the assistance of police K9 named Ash.
According to a New York State Police press release, that was subsequently removed, the suspect was found with 8 pounds of marijuana, two ounces of marijuana wax, and $8,400 in cash after a raid on his home.
In separate searches unrelated to the suspect, the police K-9 found 130 lbs of marijuana in storage units across storage shed locations in the County.
The suspect was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Since the publishing of this article, the accused record has been expunged.
