Celebrate National Pizza Day with Homemade Pizza

There is nothing I love more than a "National Day" celebration about food.

This morning I saw the hashtag Happy National Pizza Day trending and I knew I had to jump on board.

To be honest, I've been celebrating National Pizza Day for the past few weeks as I've gotten into making pizza at home. Am I late to the at-home pizza party? Probably. But I just got a pizza stone and it's been a game-changer.

Now I'm not on the level of making my own dough yet, but I'll get there (if you have any advice, I'd love it!).
