Celebrate National Donut Day Around the Hudson Valley
This could make you feel pretty great heading into the weekend.
June 5th, yes that's today, is National Donut Day! Of course, places that sever the delicious doughy goodness that is a donut are celebrating in their own special way.
Donut chains like Dunkin' and Krispy Creme are giving away free donuts today. At Dunkin' when you buy a drink, you will get a free donut. Since June 1st, Krispy Kreme has been giving away free donuts every day (one donut per person a day).
Locally, Desing's Bakery in Kingston is offering a free donut with every in-store purchase. Feel free to call them up and place your order to celebrate 845-338-7505.
While Barton Orchards in Poughquag doesn't have any donut specials at this time, they do have some of the best Apple Cider Donuts around the Hudson Valley. They also have an amazing Apple Cider Donut Sundae which is available at Barton Orchards Ice Cream Stand.
If you're in Orange County, you're probably already familiar with Daddy's Donuts. While they aren't opened for walk-in orders anymore, you can still fill out a form and order some of their sweet creations. Seriously, the maple donut was next level.
Unfortunately, the super-popular Glazed Over Donuts is closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In the meantime, you can still get a Glazed Over gift card so that when they do open you can stock up on deliciousness from their location on Main Street in Beacon.
Where are you getting your donuts today? Let us know on Facebook if we missed a hot spot.
