Cat Walkers in the Hudson Valley
Are there any out there?
Sometimes all I need during a day is a nice long walk to clear my head, especially with everything that's going on in the world nowadays. A few days ago I was having one of those days so me and a friend headed out of my apartment to get a little exercise in Poughkeepsie and came across a little something that I had to ask you guys about.
So here's what went down, as we walked out of my apartment to stroll around my complex for a bit we started talking about all kinds of random things when we came around the corner of a building and saw a woman, prob in her thirties walking her pet.
At first look I thought she was walking one of those smaller dogs that seem to be everywhere but as we got closer we realized that she was not walking a dog, she was walking her cat. She had the cat hooked up to a harness and a leash and was walking it just like most people walk their dogs and as we walked by I couldn't help but think, that's not something you see everyday. I mean, I have NEVER seen it before.
I thought the selling point of getting a cat over a dog was that cats clean themselves, go to the bathroom in a box and don't need to be walked, right? Or am I wrong here? Have you ever seen anyone walking a cat across the Hudson Valley? Call or text us through the Wolf app.
