Is your dog a superstar in waiting? There's talent there and you know it, but where does one go to get their pet a break in the movie business? A great start would be a student-run production like the films at Vassar that are seeking just the right small dog.

The Hudson Valley Film Commission reports the dog would be needed for a weekend shoot in March and the animal will need to be under 10 pounds and preferably all white. The dog will need to be carried and placed in a doggie purse.

Just think about it, even though this is an unpaid gig for your animal, even Air Bud had to get a start somewhere. Anyone interested in getting their pet involved should email hudsonvalleyfilmcasting@gmail.com.

So while this might not be as high profile a casting call as Mark Ruffalo's new project, you could be helping out a local student whose dream it is to get to that level.
